!!!!!!!!
I spent a whole afternoon in the most beautiful museum in the world, huge! I saw a couple of yes and no corridors (kilometrici!!) and I pulled a little 'off, otherwise I would have looked just a couple of paintings and statues, many of which are the works on display! And I was amazed, it is the majesty of the palace of the works, but because the provenance of the paintings! Apart from a couple of rooms devoted to the works of other countries, the exhibition is characterized by number of works on Italy! There are lots of Italian paintings, Italian authors, who fill the huge rooms the Louvre. Even the famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci is shown in a sealed glass case that takes up an entire wall to put across a room (huge), if we consider that the Mona is a 50x70 square (more or less )..!! As I walked that afternoon ..!!! Beautiful
the part Etruscan (the beautiful sarcophagus deli spouses!), Greek and Roman times (I finally saw the bust of Antinous, the concubine of Hadrian, Roman Emperor !!!), but I left a po'deluso the Egyptian industry. Apart from the layout of the rooms, a bit 'up a bit' down, seemed to be Gardaland, in the glass case there was a lot of junk and nothing that would attract attention. Certainly I do not understand anything, but it is useless to put a piece of broken vase inside a huge glass case, without a plausible explanation. Explanations that were given in French only. I do not say to put them in Italian, but at least in English, given the importance of the museum! But I'm French. Moreover it must be something wrong too!
Too bad for the Italians somehow always make themselves known everywhere, noisy and not used to turn other countries, too bad.
