Jewish Religious Holidays - 2010 Calendar
The Interior Ministry, in a press release published in the OJ 115, May 20, 2009, was announced by the Jewish religious holiday calendar for 2010. The employees of the Jewish religion have the right to receive, upon request, to observe the Sabbath as a weekly rest. This right is exercised under the flexible work organization. In all other cases, the hours not worked on Saturday shall be recovered on Sunday or other days not entitled to any overtime compensation.
on EU communication, you tell the Jewish holidays for the year 2010:
- every Saturday (from half an hour before sunset on Friday to an hour after sunset on Saturday);
- 29, 30, March 31, 5:06 April - Pesach (Passover);
- 19:20 May - Shavuot (Pentecost);
- July 20 - Fast of the 9th of Av;
- 9:10 September - Rosh He Hashanah (New Year);
- 17:18 September - Eve and fasting of atonement (Yom Kippur);
- 23, 24, 29 and September 30 - Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles);
- October 1 - Simchat Torah (Festival the Act).
